Hi, Belt broke so I got a tune-up kit, also a vent system kit. Well, there's this clear round plastic piece that melted too. It was off on its own & I'm thinking this is the belt tension item, is it?

ANSWER Hello Deborah, it sounds like you may be describing the belt tensioner 691366 or you can get the tensioner with this dryer repair kit 4392065 unless you already have these parts. Thanks!
