i HAVE A WHIRLPOOL WASHER MY BELT IS BROKEN i NEED TO KNOW HOW TO TAKE THE BACK BOARD OFF I TOOK THE SCREW OFF EXCEPT FOR THE TOP HOWEVER THE BACK DOES NOT WANT TO COME OFF IS THERE SOMETHING i AM MISSING HOW IS THERE A PICTURE SOMEWHERE THEY SHOW HOW TO TAKE THE BACK OFF. THANK YOU FOR YOU HELP Michel

Michel for Model Number GHW915PW1

ANSWER Michel, You'll need to move the washer away from the wall, and unplug the power cord. The drive motor/belt can be removed once the back panel has been removed. Twelve screws secure the back panel to the washer. Remove the 12 screws and remove the back panel. Remove the Drive Belt. Removing the lower cabinet cross brace is helpful as well, but is not necessary. The belt will need to be "rolled" onto the tub pulley. It's best to install the belt on the motor pulley, and hold it in place. slip the belt onto the tub pulley at the 7 o'clock position (approximately) and work the belt on as far as possible. Then grasp the pulley and turn it clockwise, slowly, and the belt will "walk" it's way on. After the belt is on, rotate the tub a few times(3 or 4 rotations) to insure the belt is centerred. Reverse the procedure and test the washer for a spin cycle. The belt will look to be too short, and it should be difficult to install it on the tub pulley, but this is normal. Thanks and Good Luck
