How does one remove the back panel inside the freezer to access the bi-metal AP4310486?
ANSWER Hello John. First you will need to remove the basket and the freezer door from the unit. Once these are removed, you will then remove the icemaker from the side of the freezer compartment. Then remove the screws securing the back wall to the unit. In the center of the back wall there is a vent. To remove the vent, there is a clip in the slot on the bottom that needs to be released to remove the cover. Once you remove the center cover, you will need to remove the cover on the right side and remove the thermistor from the cover. Once all of this is removed, you should be able to remove the back panel and access the bi-metal W10165425.
