I replaced the Relay Board in my Jenn-Air model W30400B with your part number 74006613. According to your web site, this is an acceptable replacement for the original board. According to a repair parts list for the W30400B, the original relay board was part number 71001850. The new board appears to work (although it seems to click a lot more than I remember with the old board); however, the cooling fan turns on at about 300 F instead of 200 F with the original board. Why the difference?
My order number was 3103400.
Thanks for your help.
ANSWER Hello Walt,
The reason for the cooling fan turning on at 300 instead of 200 is just a programming change that the manufacturer decided to make to the relay board. The relay board will use the oven sensor resistance to tell it when to turn on. Once a certain resistance has been met for a certain period of time then the cooling fan comes on. You could check the resistance of sensor to ensure that it is not faulty. Resistance should be 1090 at room temp plus or minus 10 percent.
