Your drip bowl replacement video shows the process for electric burner cooktops. My Whirlpool Gold cooktop (GLT3657RB) has gas burners. Any advice for replacing the drip bowls on a gas cooktop? Do the burners just come out when unscrewed and reseat once the drip pans are replaced? Thanks!
ANSWER Hello TM,
The drip bowls on a gas unit will have to have the burner head removed by removing two screws. The ignitor wire will also have to be removed to replace the drip bowl in some cases. In the case of your unit, I don't believe the ignitor will have to be removed.
