How does the ice maker shut off when the bin is full? I just purchased this unit and there is no arm that raises & lowers based upon the ice level (may be missing).
ANSWER Hello Don,
This unit needs no arm as it has the infrared system W10757851 to detect if ice is above the full level or not. This system is exactly like the lights at the bottom of a garage door that stops the door if the beam of light is broken.
