My washer creates a loud noise when it's agitating, I replaced the drive belt and it was still the same. It spins real good, but it leaves wet clothes when it stops. Do you think the problem was the water pump or brake assembly, or transmission assembly?
ANSWER Hello Rod. Turn the pulleys by hand. Make sure the pump is not dragging and the thrust bearing is releasing the brake properly on the unit. If the pump is dragging, replace the pump 35-6780. If the brake is not releasing right, replace the thrust bearing kit 12002213.
