The broil element, AP3891570, in my 2002 Whirlpool oven appears deformed -- the tongue part (U-part) appears to be sagging or drooping slightly. It still works. Should it be relaced?. How do you replace it?

ANSWER Hello Manny. If the element is working properly, then it should be ok. If you want to replace the element 9760767, disconnect the power to the unit. Remove the screws securing the element to the oven. Pull the element out and remove the wires from the element. Reinstall in reverse order with the new element. Hope this helps.
