At the end of a drying cycle, the buzzer goes off but does not stop. The only way to stop the buzzer is to either keep the door open or unplug the dryer. My guess is that I could pull off the back of the control unit (4 screws) and replace the buzzer (Part AP402410). Is this correct and is the repair simple for me to do?
ANSWER Hello John. Try turning the timer 33001632 and see if the buzzing stops. If not, you will need to replace the buzzer 33001623. You will access and replace the buzzer from the back of the control panel. It is a simple repair to do. Hope this helps.
