Would the detergent and rinse caps ever need to be replaced? Water overflowed from the dispenser drawer. I checked all hoses no leaks or clogs, nothing clogged in the water inlet, but when I removed the detergent cap the problem stopped, do these caps affect the water flow?
ANSWER Dino, Unless there is a crack or missing cap, there should be no reason to replace them. They can and do get clogged with debris and detergent and softner and need to be cleaned out(soak in hot water and clean debris out), and make sure the cap is not pressed down too fat on the syphon tube. You also need to check and make sure the hose and valve screens are not clogged with debris from the plumbing pipes, proper water supply is essential for the dispenser to operate properly. Good Luck and Thanks
