Unscrew sounds easy but can't do it by hand. Is there a special tool required? Possibly calcified in place.

ANSWER Hello Mike. You can use a large pair of channel lock pliers to remove the cap 99001428, but be careful not to mess the cap up or break it. Hope this helps.
