The lower washer arm (when running) is apparently hitting the 2 metal brackets that are over the heating element. It just started doing this all of a sudden and makes a lot of noise when running. Haven't taken the cap off yet but it sure is on tight! Even so, the washer arm has a lot of sway to it, alowing it to hit the brackets. Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you.

ANSWER Hi. Remove the wash arm cap part # 99002654 and observe the wash arm itself part # 6-917642. If it is bent sloping down then it will engage the heater part # W10283681. Is the heater clipped into the brackets of the tub ? If it warped then you will need to replace it. Thank You.
