My analog meter died a few months back. Purchases a digital meter. In any case I guess I should still see a "C-kick" then slow drop back to zero telling me the capacitor is doing it's job so then it would be that the motor is bad (not starting with the kick from the capacitor)?
ANSWER Hello USNavyChiefRet. If the digital meter can read the capacitor, then yes, you should see the "C-Kick". If it is good, then the motor may be bad. Check and make sure there is power coming to the motor. Hope this helps.
