I failed to get any center seal grease, for the seal and for the tub bearing 6-2040130. Would silicone faucet stem grease be the same or some type of automotive grease? Thank you.

ANSWER Hello Michael,
The center seal grease Y056016 is a specialty grease so I would be reluctant to tell anyone that a different type of grease wouldn't cause an issue.
