The dishwasher will not drain, but the motor has a low pitched hum when it gets to that function. The dishwasher goes through all the other cycles okay. Will a check valve replacement allow the machine to drain? And if so, is this accessible if you pull out the machine from under the right side? I'm guessing it just screws off, is that right?
ANSWER Hello Elizabeth. Check and see if something has the impeller jammed or if the drain hose or check valve is clogged. If not, the motor is bad. The motor has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part.
