A metal hoop was inside washer didnt know what it was took it out and continued doing laundry. Water started pouring out of front of washer door. Do I need to purchase new clamp and seal and how do I install it?

Allen for Model Number wfw8300sw02

ANSWER Hi Allen. The rear boot clamp is always needed replaced when changing out the door boot/bellows. That part # is 8540108. The door boot seal is part # W10111435. The front clamp is part # W10217563. You will need to remove the power. Remove the top. Open the door and remove hidden screw at 12:00 position. Remove the dispenser. Remove all front / top panel screws and elect. connectors. Unclip the top inner back top panel clips. Remove and set aside the control panel. Open the door and remove the front boot clamp. Unfold boot from panel and tuck inward to inner tub. Remove the top screws in the front panel. Lift off the front panel from frame.Unclip elect.connections at the door switch. Unscrew the rear boot clamp part # is 8540108. Install in reverse order. Thank you.
