ANSWER Hi Ed. This clip part # 8066208 has a curled end on one end. Use it to hold the clip while sliding it in from the back of the cabinet on the top of the dryer vent pipe. It is there to be placed in so the opposite end (flat end) is at the 12:00 position of the vent tube and the tension at the cabinet rear wall opening. It keeps it from a rattling vent tube noise.Thank You.
