This is a brand new Maytag dishwasher and it appears that it did not come with a lower panel and the associated grounding clip. Is this required in order to run the dishwasher as right now we have it hooked up, but no electricity?

ANSWER Hello Logan. There should be a grounding screw inside the junction box, that you can use for the ground of the electrical connection. The unit should work fine being grounded there. Hope this helps.
