Thank you for answering my question in such detail. In order to access the screws on top, I will have to lift the main top. Concerning the gas lines that feed the burners, will I have any problems lifting the top up to get to the screws? Thanks in advanced for your help. Vern

ANSWER Hello Vern,
The sealed burners will remove easily by turning about 1/4 turn, (if I remember correctly counterclockwise). If they are difficult to turn, you can use a belt to wrap around the burner and run a screwdriver or similar tool in the buckle to use as a leverage handle. This will give plenty of leverage while protecting the burners. Do not bend your gas lines! definitely remove the burners to access the panel screws.
