I have an amana oven, which the ignitor do not work. Before replacing the Ignitor for the oven, I noticed that the two leads from the ignitor was burned and melted together. I checked the broiler ignitor, and the broiler ignitor works. The clock works, I also checked to see if there was any time delays set, and there was not. I unpluged the unit for over thirty minutes to make sure. I place a meter on the two leads for the ignitor, and did not register any voltage, can you please tell me where else I can check
ANSWER Hello Willie. If there is no power to the ignitor leads, with the unit turned on bake, you will need to replace the clock assembly 74009214. Hope this helps.
