In late November, 2011, we replaced the timer w/ one from Appliancepartspro. Recently, but only sometimes, the washer stops at different points in the wash cycle (it has happened w/ all of the wash cycles), then has to be manually advanced to the point at which it stopped and restarted. Then, it resumes its normal functioning. Thoughts?
ANSWER Hello Evan,
Based on the description it sounds like the contacts in the timer are sticking causing the unit to stop mid cycle.
