I replaced the part #5701M833-60 ( old part was burnt up) The oven now works but the temperature on the stove is about 50 degrees higher than the actual oven temp. Is the new part bad or is there an adjustment to get the two temp reading the same?
You will want to check the resistance of the oven sensor to make sure that it is good. The sensor should have a resistance value of 1090 ohms at room temperature.
