Dryer is 10 years old. For 5 years we have experienced the same symptoms. 50% of time works perfect. Other 50% dryer will turn off before clothes are dry, anywhere from a few minutes to almost dry. Happens with automatic or timed cycle. Restarting (sometimes multiple times) eventually dries. Heat is good. Clean air path and strong flow. 2 years ago we replaced multiple sensors, thermostats, coils etc. Symptoms did not change. I was hoping it would completely fail so that troubleshooting would be easier, but it has not. My current research is pointing to Electronic Control board (W101165664). Due to its high cost I am reluctant to buy without better diagnosis. Your thoughts and or ideas?
ANSWER Hello L.A.S. If you are sure the vent is good and clear, the only thing left that could cause the issue is the board in the unit. Make sure the vent is clear.
