Dryer is 4 yrs old. Dryer will not start when start/pause button is pressed. I removed the tech sheet and went thru all dianostic test as outlined ;dryer passed all tests. The dryer works motor runs, heater works, door switch tested ok, thermisters, etc. but when you return to normal mode it doesn't start! By the way the when entering test mode dryer showed a F30 code which is obstructed air flow. I took the vent pipe off and ran the dryer in test mode and had good air flow. I am baffled. I think an electronic board issue, but I don't know which board is defective? Any suggestions?
ANSWER Hello Rob,
This sounds like the electronic control board W10174745 has a bad relay. The other board is a control circuit and this one is operating circuits. While it could be either board, this is the more common to fail in this manner.
