How difficult is it to replace the keypad that's not working on the microwave. Why is this part so expensive $289
ANSWER Mary Lou,
To replace the keypad you will need to remove the vent grill by removing 2 to 3 screws on the top. Take grill off and there will be a screw holding the control panel in place. You will want to make sure that power is removed from unit. Once you take the control panel out you will need to remove the control board and you would peel the old keypad off and install the new one. You will want to try to get all of the glue off the control panel before putting the new keypad 8183627 on.
