The door switch on my model was replaced under warranty, then the control board, under warranty as well, it went out again, but this time warranty was up, I replaced it and noticed that one of the plugs were melting, it worked for about a week, and went out again, now I have replaced the circuit board and complete harness because of the melted plugs and still the unit won't start with the start button, I can do the diagnostic modes, but that doesn't wash my dishes. Any help would be greatly appreciated, this dishwasher it only a year and a half old.
ANSWER Hello Jim. You need to test the door switches on the unit. If they are bad, they will cause the issue you are having with the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
