I've replaced the hi-limit thermostat, the thermal fuse and the regular cycling thermostat. Still, the dryer produces no heat on the hi-temp/towels setting.
The vent has been cleaned thru to the exterior exhaust vent, the lint trap is clean, and the rear of the dryer shows no significant lint with the back panel removed.
Other than the coils, shat other part could malfunction to prevent the heat from coming on?
ANSWER Hello Steve. Test the flame sensor in the unit. Also, check the igniter and make sure it is getting hot enough to light the gas. If it is not glowing, test for power. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter for the testing procedures. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
