I have a kenmore gas dryer that has no heat when runing. I tested the igniter, flame sensor, coils, thermal fuse, hight limit thermostat, thermistor. Then I checked to see if the ignitor was getting power, and there was no power at all at the bottom of the dryer. I was told that the timer may be bad. Could the timer cause the power not toget to the bottom end of the dryer and cause the buner not to light. How can I test the timer to see if its working? Thanks

ANSWER Hello Donald. You will need to look at your wiring diagram for the dryer and see where the power for the igniter comes out of the timer 8299771. Test there and see if the timer is supplying power to the timer. If so, you will need to trace and see where your loosing the power at. Hope this helps.
