Here's my problem- the ignitor lights the burner when I first start the dryer but eventually (maybe 5-10 minutes later) it starts cycling the ignitor. When the ignitor is glowing there is a short flame and then it shuts off in a few seconds. While this is happening I hear a chattering as if one of the valves is not able to fully actuate. Could it be that as the coils get warmer the resistance of one of the coils is increasng or is one of the valve plungers sticking as it gets hotter?

ANSWER Hello Rob,
It does appear that your secondary coil 279834 has gone bad. Your main coils helps with ignition and secondary keeps unit going.
