The heater in the gas dryer ignites and heats for about 2 minutes and then stops heating and blows cool air. If I stop the dryer and restart it, the flame does not ignite this time, yet I see the orange glow for a few seconds before it goes out. If instead, I wait 30 minutes to restart, the heater will work for a few minutes and then go cool again. Does this sound like the coils and will the Part Number: AP3094251

Thank you very much.
ANSWER Hello. You can test the coils using a multi-meter TJMA-DM1. The two prong coil will read 1,000-1,300 ohms, and the three prong coil will read 1,300-1,400 ohms across prongs 1&2, and 500-600 ohms across prongs 1&3. Here is a link you can refer to for help with using a multi meter: http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html . Hope this helps!
