I have a side by side. My refrigerator stopped freezing and now the refrigerator side is not cooling. Lights work inside, but it keeps kicking on and off every 15 minutes. Trying hard to cool with a buzzing sound. I would like to fix this by myself. It is only 7 years old. What would be causing this to happen?

ANSWER Hello Dennis,
The first thing that you want to check is amp draw on compressor. Amp draw should not be above 9 amps. If it is the compressor making the buzzing noise then the compressor W10160407 is locked up and would need to be replaced.
