I would like to install an icemaker in my refridgerator. Will AP3179138 allow me to do this? Will I need additional installatin parts? Does it contain instructions?

ANSWER Hello Bob,
If your refrigerator does not have an icemaker in it but will accept an optional icemaker then the 4396418 will work. If you already have an icemaker in the refrigerator and need to replace the icemaker then you would need D7824706Q.
