All of a sudden there was a stream of water flowing out the dispenser door of the ice maker. Had to yank the unit out to get to the wall shut off. The ice bucket in the door was nearly full and the ice maker unit is filled with ice. There is a black tube from the freezer ceiling that is not connected to anything in the ice maker. It just sits over the end of the I/M. IR signal solid color when door is manually held closed; blinks 2x in cycles when door open or I/M switched off. If ice maker was stuck in a fill mode, I would have expected that the mold would have had just water not solid ice. But I really don't know. Please advise as to what went wrong with this thing. Thank you!
This sounds like the water inlet valve W10247725 has failed or the contacts in the ice maker motor module W10190935 have stuck.
