I am using this unit in the United States with 60 htz the old requirement is 50 htz Do I need to replace the compressor with 120 volt 60 hertz unit. Thanks.

ANSWER Hello Fred. You will need to change all electrical components on this refrigerator for it to run properly. Compressor, control board, fan motors, ect... Hope this helps.
