My Maytag refrigerator came on and the compresser after awhile running it started getting cold. I shut it off. I went bed, the next day I started it up. It took some time for the compresser to try to come on. The fan came on and the compresser would just hum. It tried 5 times to start. I install a relay & overload kit. It is still doing the same thing. It tries to start but just hums. Do I need a compressor?
ANSWER Hello Joe,
Based on the information provided, it does appear that you will need the compressor W10160407 replaced in your refrigerator.
