If I replace the heater evaporator, do I need to replace the condenser?
Pat E for Model Number GX5SHDXVQ00
ANSWER Pat, I think I understand the question, If you replace the evaporator defrost heater 67002493, No , you will not need to replace the condenser coil, But you do need to check and clean any lint or debris from it. If you are replacing the "sealed system" components, due to a leak, then yes, you would want to consider the condenser coil repalcement. Thanks and Good Luck
