hi am in pre part order with one of your chat team, would like your idea on a problem please before i get them to send the part,
my house got struck by lightening, the power wouldnt go back on untill i unplugged the fridge,(30mA trip switch) today i changed a hardened power cable and the fridge stayed on and ran for 90 minutes then the supply swithched off again via the trip switch as before. this makes me think its the in line capacitor which is damaged, as during the 90 minutes of running all other parts were working ok help me please thank you
ANSWER Hello Barry. With a lightening strike, there could be several factors here. It is best to have an electrician check the circuit for damage if the unit ran fine for 90 minutes, it does not sounds like the unit is damaged.
