whole freezer and refrigerator got warm, had to throw away all food. cleaned out bottom with vacuum cleaner and now the freezer is working, its blowing cold air and freezing now but the refrigerator is still semi cool, not cool enough to keep milk from spoiling. just cool enough to keep water in it. Please advise what could be the problem.

ANSWER Hello Lisa, You will want to make sure that the evaporator motor is running. If not check to make sure that you are getting 120vac to the fan motor. If you are then you would need to replace the evaporator fan motor. Check to make sure that the unit is defrosting properly and check to make sure that the condensor fan motor is operational if not check for 120vac to the condensor fan motor. If there is power and motor not running replace motor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
