The drain hole under the evaporator coils in the back of the freezer keeps plugging up with ice. Water runs down on the bottom of the freezer and freezes, some comes out on the floor, over time. I poured hot water, but would not drain. I ran a wire down, shows nothing blocking the drain. Is the drain heater or something else causing the problem? Everything else is working fine. thanx.
You will want to pull the drain hose from the back of the refrigerator and flush the drain. There is normally a p trap in this drain that gets clogged that if you just push a wire through it, the wire will just go through the gunk.
