We put the ice machine into clean mode and manual says it should run in clean cycle for 47 min and it kept running (all night) until I had to manually stop it this am. When I started it back up, it produced one slab and then would not kick back into ice production mode. Water kept coming on and off also and random cycle times. Do we have a bad control board? My fear is that it fried during the long clean cycle due to the heat.
ANSWER Hello Jeff. Based on the information you provided, the board is bad on the unit. Most likely it was bad and caused the unit to run all night in the clean cycle. You will need to replace the control board on the unit.
