Why are the circuit boards for the Whirlpool built in ovens not available? My double oven is only about 10 years old, needs a new board but all I can get is a rebuilt one. For 475 dollars, installed. Seems like a rip off.

ANSWER Hello Chef Bubba, The manufacturer will discontinue parts on older products from time to time. Quite often, they will provide a substitue part number, if one is available from a newer appliance. If you will provide us with the model number of your oven we will be happy to research out parts data information and see if a control board or touchpad assembly is available. Thanks
