The technician was change the compressor and he said to me that the thermostat does not serve. Now, after a lot of time, I is the well-read one in the matter and realize that the thermostat was coming uncalibrated from factory. The refrigerator I buys it newly. Now I have empezad when the screws of the thermostat move and now, the engine stops every certain time. Now, I need to know to that temperature must stop this thermostat and all that is the correct time that must remain extinguished before restarting the march. If it is possible that i send you my thermostat in order that you calibrate it?
Please answer to me, What I pay for the electrical consumption is too much.
ANSWER Alexxxo, Sorry, but we are not equipped to calibrate your cold control, the manufacturer and APP,reccomends to replace the control C8946703. Being an older refrigerator, the control could be out of calibration, but there are several things you need to check firt. Make sure both doors close and seal properly, The air flow is proper(nothing against the walls, or hanging over the shelves, the compartments are not overloaded, etc. Then check the food product temperature with an accurate cook's thermometer (fresh food temp. should be 37 to 40 dgrs. F / freezer food temp. should be 0 to 5 dgrs.F.) and adjust the controls accordingly one(1) setting at a time every 24 hours, until the temperature is achieved. As for compressor run time, that is a product of several conditions, room temperature, product temperature, load size and door openings etc. But, the defrost cycle should occurr after 18 hours of accumulated compressor run time(approximately every24 to 30 hours in real time). Thanks and Good Luck
