How involved is it to replace this piece? I know the burners have to be unscrewed first. How about after? Thanks.

ANSWER Hello Michael. After the burners are removed, use a paint scraper to release the spring clips (front edge about 3 inches from the corner). Be sure to place the burners in the exact order they came off to ensure they are re-installed in the exact location they were removed from. After this is accomplished the top can be lifted off. Be sure to look along the edges of the old top for any plastic tabs used for added support as they will not be on the replacement top. As your re-assembling the unit, be sure not to pinch any of the ignitor wires and try to route them away from any sharp edges. Re-assemble the burners in reverse order and you should be ready to cook! Hope this helped!
