My question is how to repair this part. It keeps coming off every time we remove the ice bin to put the part back on and try to get some ice out of the dispenser and put it back on then it falls off again.

Christina for Model Number ED22pwxbw00

ANSWER Christina, A few things to check, Make sure there is not too much in and out play on the auger shaft assembly (1/4 to 3/8 inch play would be normal) more than that would indicate a loose nut or worn out bearing assembly. Also check and make sure the auger motor housing is perpendicular ( straight up and down) on the back wall, and the yoke blades, insert into the drive auger evenly. Thanks and Good Luck.
