Washing machine started with slow water leak under machine and has since started with much more significant leakage and loud noise during spin cycle. Seen by repair technichian and diagnosed tub seal leakage. I was told part cheap but labor would cost about 200.00 and no guarantee that part would hold up beyond 3 months to 1 year is this info correct?
ANSWER Hello Patricia. If the tub seal is bad, you will need to replace the tub bearing kit 6-2040130 and the mounting stem kit 6-2095720. The part should hold up, if installed correctly. Hope this helps.
