I have a leak developing under the tub during the wash and spin cycle and looking on your web sight P/N AP4026774 would cover the problem. Is there another part that would need to be replaced once I get the tub out? Are there any special tools designed for this application that I would nee to buy? If I decide not to tackle this myself, what would be a ballpark range of the labor cost for a repair technition to do the job. Is there a manual that I could download to do it myself?
ANSWER Jeffrey, The tub cover and gasket, would not create a leak under the tub during the wash and or spin cycle. You most likely have a leaking tub bearing and seal assembly: 6-2095720 and 6-2040130, you will also need a "spanner wrench" TJ90TB123A to remove both leaking parts. also consider a new drive belt 211125. It's not that hard a repair, a bit cumbersome, but not hard and would take a "DIY'r" an hour or so to complete, with a few basic hand tools. You may want to review this basic information [http://www.applianceaid.com/tub_seal_replacement.html] to get a pretty good idea of what to expect. Thanks and Good Luck
