Note: This question is for the older version of this part, but we thought you might still find it helpful
Ok I installed the new igniter and I now get heat (THANKS!), but the dryer doesn't turn off now. There is a small black part on the inside of the back wall of the dryer, I noticed when I had it apart from the other side, there is only one wire connected to it, but there seems to be two terminals. I looked for the other wire but didn't find it. It is mounted behind the lint shoot (looking at it from the back with the back panel off). Is this the temp sensor or the humidity sensor or something? Could that be why it doesn't shut off?
I'm very glad it at least works but would be much happier with it functioning fully. Thanks for the help so far.
