I have a Maytag top load washer, Model # mvwc6esww1. The problem is that when the Extra Rinse switch is set to Off, once the normal cycle finishes spinning and goes to Off, it then starts filling up as if it was doing an Extra Rinse. However, it doesn't spin the clothes dry. While experimenting, I set the Extra Rinse switch to On and it successfully filled the Extra Rinse and spun the clothes dry. So the problem is when the switch is set to Off, the clothes are wet when it finally turns off. Please help

Jason for Model Number mvwc6esww1

ANSWER Jason, You can check the switchW10168257 circuits with a multi meter, In the "ON" position it will have a"closed" circuit, and the "OFF" position will have an "open" circuit(infinite resistance). Chances are the switch will check out properly. Your issue is most likely in the water temp switch W10248240 and/or the timer delay control W10104800 or the wiring and connections between the two components.
