My refrigerator keeps freezing the juices and fruits, vegetables etc. and this stuff is not in the freezer area. Will changing the fresh food temperature control or fix this problem?
ANSWER Hello Hugo,
The issue is caused by a lack of air circulation. Think of it this way, cold air is heavier than warm air. When the fans are not running, the cold air will migrate to the bottom of the unit. It will also migrate to the fresh food side from the freezer side through the air return port. The fix is completely backwards from what logic dictates. You will need to set the freezer side a number warmer and the fresh food side a number COLDER. As I said, this seems backwards, but what this actually does is cause the unit to circulate the air properly and prevent the cold air from settling in the bottom of the fresh food side and freezing the items that should never freeze.
