The refrigerator and freezer both got warm. Ice formed on the back of the freezer. I unplugged it for a day and then plugged it back in. It ran fine for a week and then the same problem occurred. I found the heating coil, but cannot fond the thermostat, so I don't know how to check which is working and which isn't.
The thermostat is clipped to the top portion of the evaporator and will come as part of an assembly with the heater 61006199. You will want to check the heater and thermostat for continuity and if there is continuity then replace the defrost board 61005988.
